Benefits of Marine Protected Area MPA's in the Community of Bolinao Pangasinan

• Increased fish catch of fishermen, from 2.5 kilos per day in1995 to 6 kilos per fish per day to date.

• Recovery of coralline and mangrove habitats.



• Enhancement and recruitment of various fisheries, wildlife and aquatic resources.





• Encouraged community participation in MPA management.
